If you are driven to create a better, more sustainable future, then this is the right place for you.</div></div><p><strong>The Role:</strong></p><ul><li>Lead the Taiwan High Voltage team and effectively prioritize workload demands to meet project deadlines.</li><li>Partner with supply chain, software, hardware, and quality teams to ensure a coherent design and consistent delivery.</li><li>Design and develop high voltage and high power electrical unit packaging, low voltage vehicle control boxes, and functional/performance specifications following best practices, e.g. OBC, DCDC, GWSW, fuse boxes, ECU, etc.</li><li>Coordinate CAE, design, prototyping, testing of components, and documentation of these activities.</li><li>Troubleshoot issues in manufacturing plants, assembly plants, and field operations.</li><li>Lead failure analyses and experiments to propose design revisions and solutions.</li><li>Monitor BOM and control costs, identify risks and intervene in early stage.</li><li>Mentor team members through coaching, feedback cycles, performance evaluations and foster a culture of accountability and continuous learning.</li></ul><p><strong>Qualifications:</strong></p><ul><li>Proven experience in design release engineering, including engineering change control and project management, as well as in assembly and production environment.</li><li>Experience with manufacturing processes such as PCBA, injection molding, sheet metal stamping, die casting, and more.</li><li>Proficiency in 3D CAD, preferably CATIA V6/3DX.</li><li>Familiarity with systems engineering tools and methodologies, e.g. DFMEA, DOE, Six Sigma, tolerance analysis.</li><li>Has held a supervisory role overseeing a team.</li><li>Ability to manage multiple projects effectively.</li><li>Language proficiency in Mandarin and English, written and spoken.</li></ul><div><p><strong>Preferred:</strong></p><ul><li>15+ years of relevant design experience.</li><li>Familiarity with automotive engineering &amp; product validation processes.</li><li>Experience integrating mechanical designs with high-voltage electrical systems.</li></ul></div><div> </div><div>At Lucid, we don’t just welcome diversity - we celebrate it!
