We are a start-up environment and the right person in this position can expand beyond this opportunity as you continue to grow within the organization. This is an excellent opportunity for someone to join a growing team environment, solve unique problems, leverage their existing knowledge in upstream operations and develop new skills. What you will accomplish:<ul><li>Perform microbial fermentations and practice aseptic techniques for developing protein products.</li><li>Operation of automated bench-top reactors and/or small-scale bioreactors.</li><li>Maintains lab equipment and related records and is responsible for vendor and inventory management.</li><li>Run analytical instruments for quantification such as moisture analysis, dry cell weight, execute wet chemistry assays for metabolite concentrations, etc.</li><li>Collect and process samples for products of interest.</li><li>Design, execute, and analyze experiments with a focus on scalability, enabling data-driven interpretation and the development of follow-up studies for process optimization and scale-up. Use of statistical Analysis software(I.E.
