Our dedicated team is committed to making solar energy accessible and affordable for homeowners across the country.</p><p>We are currently seeking an Office Assistant to manage daily tasks, welcome visitors, and ensure smooth project flow. The role includes identifying opportunities for efficiency, assisting in HR tasks, promoting a positive office culture, and handling payroll. OAs play a crucial role in our business operations.</p><p><strong>Duties/Responsibilities:</strong></p><ul><li>Answers phone calls and emails.</li><li>Engage and promote both interoffice and cross-departmental communications</li><li>Assists Operations and Assistant Operations Manager(s), Project coordinators, Sales, warehouse, etc</li><li>Assist in updating dashboard (OM notes)</li><li>Supports field employees by contacting corporate resources for issue resolution</li><li>Reviews employee timesheets, enters payroll into the corporate system, and according to Payroll processing deadlines</li><li>Supports internal office processes and company policies</li><li>Gathers correspondences and delivers as necessary (mail, deliveries, pick up, etc)</li><li>Creates and updates all office spreadsheets and/or documents as related to business and as assigned by Supervisors</li><li>Assists in planning and organizing site events/activities</li><li>Recognizes issues requiring action and takes initiative to resolve/report while working with minimal supervision.</li><li>Stays current with professional and industrial best practices</li><li>Occasional travel in personal vehicle</li><li>Performs other related duties as assigned.</li></ul><p><strong>Required Skills/Abilities:</strong></p><ul><li>Excellent analytical and mathematical skills.</li><li>Excellent verbal and written communication skills.</li><li>Excellent interpersonal and customer service skills.</li><li>Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.</li><li>Excellent time management skills with a proven ability to meet deadlines.</li><li>Proficient with ION technology, such as Paycom, FieldPro, and smartphones or related software.</li><li>Ability to type at least 45 words per minute.</li></ul><p><strong>Education and Experience:</strong></p><ul><li>A high school diploma or equivalent is required</li><li>Previous experience in an office environment is preferred.</li><li>Solar Experience is a plus</li></ul><p><strong>Physical Requirements:</strong></p><ul><li>Prolonged periods sitting at a desk and working on a computer.</li><li>Must be able to lift up to 25 pounds at times.</li></ul><p><strong>Compensation/Benefits:</strong></p><ul><li>Competitive wages</li><li>Health/Vision/Dental Insurance</li><li>401K</li><li>Paid time off and paid holidays</li><li>Paid birthday off</li></ul><p>ION Solar is an equal opportunity employer.
