The position proactively leads to the coordination of the Mississauga office functions, including handling enquiries, general maintenance requests and safety.Responsibilities: <ul><li>Orders and maintains office supplies and services, including IT resources, facilities, and standard supplies</li><li>Represents office interests in relationships with external associates, including vendors, consultants, and clients</li><li>Develops initiatives related to company culture and employee wellness</li><li>Accepts and responds to organizational phone calls, emails, and traditional mail correspondence</li><li>Collaborates across departments to help plan events and initiatives</li><li>Assists with operation schedules and execution</li><li>Provides as-needed support (scheduling, planning, etc.) to directors, managers, and executives</li><li>Fields technical and logistical questions</li><li>Creates reports and presentations</li><li>Meeting and event planning assistance</li><li>Keeps shared office spaces organized</li><li>Handles incoming and outgoing packages and mail</li><li>Handles office communications</li></ul>Qualifications: <ul><li>A bachelor’s degree in business administration or a related field or equivalent work experience  </li><li>Excellent verbal and written communications skills</li><li>Proficiency in Microsoft Word, PowerPoint, Excel and Salesforce</li><li>A persistent, positive attitude to problem-solving and proactive approach to tasks</li><li>Ability to function well in a fast-paced, informal, team-focused environment where constant change is the norm and the bar for quality is set high</li><li>Detail-orientation with superb organizational skills and strong follow-through</li><li>Great ability to prioritize and manage schedules</li></ul>Preferred Qualifications:<ul><li>Exposure to Water and/or Wastewater industry preferred but not required</li></ul>#LI-JO2Join the global Xylem team to be a part of innovative technology solutions transforming water usage, conservation, and re-use.
