As a member of the DERs Department, you will assist with driving customer participation in programs that incentivize the adoption of distributed and community solar. Solar energy is critical in driving our nation’s progress toward a decarbonized grid, and you will play a material role in helping our team make this future a reality.   This position will report to the Director of the Consumer Protection team and will support our work as the Program Administrator for Illinois Shines. Illinois Shines is the statewide incentive program aimed at assisting people across Illinois to more affordably transition to solar power. To meet Illinois’ goal of having 100% of its energy come from renewable energy sources by 2050, it is imperative that consumers’ rights are protected when working with companies registered with the Program. Come help our dedicated team with this important role in the clean energy transition!      Daily responsibilities include but are not limited to: <ul><li style="font-family:'times new roman' , times , serif;font-size:14pt;">Investigating allegations of Program violations escalated by team  </li><li style="font-family:'times new roman' , times , serif;font-size:14pt;">Making recommendations for informal mediation, potential pre-disciplinary and disciplinary action for apparent and/or confirmed Program violations based upon Program requirements </li><li style="font-family:'times new roman' , times , serif;font-size:14pt;">Timely drafting letters to entities alleged or confirmed to have violated Program requirements, consistent with standard operating procedures   </li><li style="font-family:'times new roman' , times , serif;font-size:14pt;">Identifying trends in consumer complaints and Program violations;
