AECOM is seeking a Water/Wastewater Project Engineer to join our team in Chicago, supporting exciting projects that improve community infrastructure. The qualified applicant will have experience in water/wastewater engineering and construction management principles, and will be familiar with the design, construction, and operation of municipal water and/or wastewater treatment and conveyance infrastructure.The responsibilities of this position include, but are not limited to:<ul><li>Technical design of projects associated with municipal water / wastewater / drainage infrastructure improvements.</li><li>Providing specialized technical input to studies and design for staff's specific area of expertise.</li><li>Participating in interdisciplinary review of project deliverables.</li><li>Developing construction cost estimates and estimates of technical efforts for projects.</li><li>Performing quality control review of design calculations or drawings.</li><li>Preparing technical specification sections.</li><li>Providing input to the development of engineering budget and schedule to meet requirements.</li><li>Providing guidance and mentoring to entry-level engineers.</li></ul>
