Our site supports Big River Steel (Steel Mill Customer) as well as the merchant gas business.  The Site Supervisor will be responsible to assist in all aspects of site operations including but not limited to EH&amp;S management, operational excellence, people development, cost management, productivity, customer satisfaction being the key areas of responsibility. Qualifications/Requirements<ul><li>5+ years of experience in process plant operation/maintenance and product distribution</li><li>A validated commitment to safety, health, and environmental protection</li><li>A self-starter with demonstrated leadership skills and ability to develop talent</li><li>A visible teamwork orientation</li><li>Willingness to support off hours when needed (24X7 on call)</li><li>Ability to foster employee engagement and development is a must</li><li>Experience in asset management including driving a safe work atmosphere where “safe to say” is a key communication attribution</li><li>Continuous improvement, business profitability and supporting sales and engineering are a proven trait for success in this position</li><li>Ability to build relationships with multiple support groups</li><li>Strong interpersonal, communication and organizational skills</li><li>Ensure that all plant safety procedures are followed.</li><li>Attend and contribute to monthly safety meetings.</li><li>Perform troubleshooting on equipment and make repairs if possible.</li><li>Assist in reviewing and updating operating procedures as required.</li></ul>Experience / Education required:<ul><li>High school diploma or equivalent</li><li>Basic computer proficiency and software knowledge, including Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook.</li><li>Previous work history and/or military experience</li><li>Electrical, instrument or mechanical maintenance experience a plus</li><li>Ability to read/understand piping and instrumentation drawings a plus</li><li>Experience with personal computers and/or DCS systems</li><li>Desire and ability to work in a team environment</li></ul>Physical Requirements must be able to:<ul><li>Climb ladders and steps and lift a minimum of 50 lbs.</li><li>Meet call-in requirements as needed.</li><li>Elevated work required.</li><li>Work in all weather conditions.</li></ul>What's In It for You:  At Air Products we foster a culture of inclusion where every voice is heard, and everyone feels they belong and matter.
