Our dedicated team is committed to making solar energy accessible and affordable for homeowners across the country.We are currently in search of a skilled Installer who will be responsible for assembling, installing, and maintaining solar PV systems.. Duties/Responsibilities:<ul><li>Assembles and installs solar panels on roofs</li><li>Configures PV systems based on site conditions and customers needs and expectations; connects panels to the power grid</li><li>Maintain high levels of quality assurance and quality control with an emphasis on crew safety</li><li>Complete projects within established policies and procedures</li><li>Ensures that equipment is weather sealed</li><li>Performs routine maintenance on PV systems</li><li>Responsible for assisting the Electrician with connecting PV panels to the electrical system</li><li>Performs other related duties as assigned</li></ul>Required Skills/Abilities:<ul><li>Extensive knowledge of PV equipment and installation.</li><li>Extensive knowledge of electrical wiring and equipment.</li><li>Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.</li><li>Ability to read building plans.</li><li>Ability to read equipment manuals.</li><li>Ability to use hand and power tools to install PV panels.</li><li>Ability to use ION technology, such as smartphones, Paycom, Field Pro, SalesForce, etc. </li></ul>Education and Experience:<ul><li>High school diploma or equivalent required.</li><li>Vocational or technical school training preferred.</li><li>Experience in solar, roofing, or construction preferred</li></ul>Physical Requirements:<ul><li>Must be able to work at great heights.</li><li>Prolonged periods of kneeling, bending, crouching, and climbing ladders.</li><li>Must be able to lift at least 50 pounds at a time.</li></ul>Work Environment:<ul><li>PV installation is done outdoors. Installers work on rooftops but also sometimes work in attics and crawl spaces to connect panels to the electrical grid.</li><li>PV installers work as part of a team.
