Join a team that's not just about selling solar — we're changing lives, one roof at a time.</p><p>We are seeking a passionate Post Install Manager to help further our mission through excellent craftsmanship, customer service, and a team-focused approach.</p><p><strong>Essential Job Functions</strong></p><ul><li>Oversee and drive the completion of outstanding projects from release through installation to utility board approval across all markets.</li><li>Manage all post-installation activities and customer requirements from "Install Complete" to "Activation" for Northeast (MA, RI, NH) markets.</li><li>Provide regular updates to the Director of Operations – LA/MS on progress, challenges, and resource needs.</li><li>Develop and maintain Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) for the Post-Install process.</li><li>Manage and approve timecards and PTO for direct reports.</li><li>Conduct regular one-on-one meetings with team members to provide feedback and support.</li><li>Recruit, interview, onboard, and train new Post-Install team members.</li><li>Secure final inspection and completion letters from municipalities as required.</li><li>Ensure municipalities are submitting solar permits to utilities promptly.</li><li>Coordinate with subcontractors to address and correct inspection failures prior to re-inspection.</li><li>Collaborate with utility contacts to submit and obtain executed interconnection agreements.</li><li>Follow up with utilities and customers to confirm PTO (Permission to Operate) and net meter status.</li><li>Manage final submissions to utilities and state agencies.</li><li>Schedule and oversee timely activations.</li><li>Maintain consistent, proactive communication with customers throughout the process.</li><li>Respond to customer inquiries via phone and email in a timely and professional manner.</li><li>Collaborate cross-functionally with internal departments to enhance the overall customer experience.</li><li>Other duties as assigned by leadership.</li></ul><p><strong>Qualifications &amp; Requirements</strong></p><ul><li>High School Diploma or GED required.</li><li>Minimum of 3 years of experience in a related field; experience in the solar industry strongly preferred.</li><li>Proven leadership experience with the ability to coach, develop, and manage a team.</li><li>Proficiency with Google Workspace (Gmail, Drive, Docs, Sheets, etc.) preferred.</li><li>Strong verbal and written communication skills required.</li><li>Experience with Salesforce or similar CRM systems is a plus.</li><li>Working knowledge of solar energy systems, permitting, and utility processes preferred.</li><li>Willingness to complete all steps of the pre-employment screening process.</li></ul><p><strong>Physical Demands</strong></p><p>The physical demands outlined below are representative of those that an employee must meet to successfully perform the essential functions of this role.</p><ul><li>Ability to work in a variety of extreme environmental conditions (e.g., high heat, cold temperatures).</li><li>Must be willing and able to climb ladders, ascend/descend stairs, and work on rooftops of multi-level buildings, as well as within confined spaces such as attics.</li><li>While performing the duties of this role, the employee will regularly be required to speak and hear. PosiGen was founded in 2011 with one simple goal: give low and middle income families access to affordable solar and energy efficiency to dramatically cut their energy costs and improve their lives. In post-Katrina New Orleans, our founders shared the rebuilding city’s frustration that thousands of homeowners wanted to install solar and energy efficiency improvements in their homes, but were shut out due to the lack of significant income and high credit scores that other national solar companies require.
