You will ensure efficient and high-quality solar system installations, maintain safety standards, and manage project operations. Responsibilities include overseeing installations in compliance with codes, managing inventory, maintaining a clean worksite, and coordinating with the Live Review Specialist (LRS) for job completion. Strong leadership, communication, and technical skills are essential for success in this role.Essential Job Functions<ul><li>Supervise and lead a team of solar installation technicians, ensuring efficiency and high-quality workmanship.</li><li>Uphold the highest standards of quality, safety, and customer communication.</li><li>Install solar systems in compliance with NEC and building codes, using layouts, line diagrams, and engineering reports.</li><li>Measure, cut, and install structural reinforcements as needed.</li><li>Securely mount racking and electrical equipment, following industry best practices.</li><li>Manage and maintain an accurate inventory of installation equipment.</li><li>Ensure a clean and organized worksite throughout each project.</li><li>Adhere to company policies, safety protocols, and OSHA requirements; complete OSHA training as needed.</li><li>Participate in company meetings, safety briefings, and training sessions as required.</li><li>Responsible for coordinating with the LRS (Live Review Specialist) to confirm job completion.</li><li>Other duties as assigned.</li></ul>Qualifications &amp; Requirements<ul><li>High school diploma or equivalent (required).</li><li>3+ years of roofing experience (required).</li><li>Prior experience with residential and/or commercial solar installations (preferred).</li><li>Comfortable working at heights and in confined spaces.</li><li>Ability to obtain DOT Medical Certification.</li><li>Capable of working independently and collaboratively within a team.</li><li>Skilled in training, mentoring, and managing team members.</li><li>Previous leadership experience (preferred), especially managing a site.</li><li>Knowledge of roofing and understanding of the electrical side of solar (preferred leadership experience).</li><li>Proficient in using technology, such as Sitetracker, apps, etc.</li><li>Strong ability to read and interpret plans, specifications, diagrams, equipment submittals, and material data sheets.</li><li>Must be flexible based on customer availability.</li><li>Must possess a valid state driver’s license with a minimum of three years of driving history, a clean driving record, and access to reliable transportation. </li><li>Willing to complete the pre-employment screening process.</li></ul>Physical Demands<ul><li>Ability to work in a variety of extreme environmental conditions (e.g., high heat, cold temperatures).</li><li>Must be willing and able to climb ladders, ascend/descend stairs, and work on rooftops of multi-level buildings, as well as within confined spaces such as attics.</li><li>While performing the duties of this role, the employee will regularly be required to speak and hear.
