The ideal candidate will oversee the planning, execution, and successful completion of projects related to software management, development, automation, Power Systems, SCADA, DERMS, EMS and Smart Grids. Drives the formal acceptance of the project, contract close-out and its acknowledgement by the customer.</li></ul>Contract claims and procurement management:<ul> <li>Ensures that the project consistently applies contract and claims management, in accordance with EPE policies and contractual agreements.</li></ul>Stakeholder relations<ul> <li>Acts as key contact for the customer and escalation point for project issues.</li> <li>Builds and maintains strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders and effectively communicates with all stakeholders.</li></ul>Health, safety and environment (HSE)<ul> <li>Ensures the project follows and complies with company health, safety, and environmental policies.</li></ul>People leadership and development<ul> <li>Develops project execution staff through formal and informal mentoring and coaching.</li></ul><h2>Qualifications</h2>Bring your passion, here's what’s needed:<ul> <li>Bachelor’s or master’s degree in software engineering, Power Systems, or a related field from an accredited program. </li> <li>5-10 years of experience in project management specifically in software development within the power sector </li> <li>PMP certification is preferred </li> <li>Proven expertise in SCADA, DERMS, EMS, smart grids, communication networks, and automation. </li> <li>Ability to identify opportunities and lead proposals / pursuit efforts. Proven ability to develop business and establish relationships with clients. </li> <li>Ability to handle large volumes of work and multi-task in a fast-paced environment. </li> <li>Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
