ICEYE is a place where your development, your growth and your success is a priority. Senior Software Engineer - AI/ML product developmentWe are seeking a highly motivated Senior Software Engineer to join our team responsible for managing and interfacing with ground station providers. We are in the early phases in creating an ML model to our product and we are looking to strengthen the team with specific expertise. Ground Station team interfaces with Ground Station vendors and serves some 300 satellite contacts (passes) per day. Given the physical nature of these interactions, some passes experience quality issues. We will be building software that detects and classifies these anomalies and subsequently takes actions to mitigate the issues. A strong understanding of satellite communications, radio wave propagation, and modulations will be beneficial for a faster ramp-up.The successful candidate will possess hands-on experience in designing, implementing, and operating scalable services based on ML models in production environments. We are searching for an individual with deep technical expertise in the field of data processing, statistical analysis and machine learning. Success is measured by outcomes, and we value individuals who are focused and driven to achieve those outcomes.Our technology stack comprises Python and Go, running on both AWS cloud and on-premise Kubernetes infrastructure.
