The successful candidate is comfortable performing a wide range of tasks from administrative to strategic.Main Tasks &amp; Responsibilities, but are not limited to :<ul><li>Facilitate materials deliveries per deadlines   </li><li>Reconcile materials deliveries with purchase orders</li><li>Pack and prepare outgoing shipments including required documentation</li><li>Coordinate with the supply chain department on Commissioning needs</li><li>Investigate and resolve material issues</li><li>Manage inventory of materials and spare parts</li><li>Open Non-Conformance Reports (NCR)</li><li>Manage all NCRs and follow-up through closing</li><li>Coordinate with suppliers on sending and receiving RMA materials</li><li>Perform additional duties as needed</li><li>Follow direction of Commissioning Manager and Warranty Supervisor</li><li>Adhere to company policies &amp; procedures</li><li>This will include direct responsibility for expediting and inventory control</li><li>Plan and coordinate logistics operations in support of the Commissioning by ensuring parts and materials are supplied according to Commissioning and Consignment schedule.</li></ul>Job Skills, Experience and Qualifications:<ul><li>Bi-lingual Spanish highly desirable</li><li>Ability to work with minimal supervision</li><li>Proficient in Microsoft Office, especially Word and Excel</li><li>Working experience of vendor management software (SAP desirable)</li><li>Familiarity with sourcing and vendor management</li><li>Ability to gather and analyse data and to work with figures</li><li>Solid judgement along with decision making skills</li><li>Strong proactive capabilities</li><li>Strong organizational skills</li><li>2 years as an Administrative Assistant desired</li></ul>Education: • High School Diploma / GED required. Benefits:Hitachi Rail employees enjoy a comprehensive benefits package including Competitive Pay, Medical, Dental and Vision Insurance, Short &amp; Long Term Disability, Life &amp; Accident Insurance, Flexible Spending Accounts, a Retirement Savings Plan, and Paid Vacation.
