AECOM is seeking a Senior Municipal Project Manager/Engineer to join our Kitchener, ON office. This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced Municipal Engineer with a background in detailed design and skills in leadership and business development to advance their career and make their mark. The appropriately qualified candidate will have extensive experience in design, design reviews, report writing, proposal writing, as well as building relationships with clients. The successful candidate will be expected to grow and lead a municipal design team in the delivery of infrastructure projects to customers primarily within the municipal water, wastewater and stormwater sector. The responsibilities of this position include, but are not limited to:<ul><li>Lead existing municipal technical design staff, for projects including:<ul><li>Sewer and watermain design/replacement /reconstruction,</li><li>Roadway and intersection improvements,</li><li>Site servicing design,</li><li>Potable water pumping, transmission, storage and distribution systems</li><li>Sanitary drainage and pumping</li></ul></li><li>Responsible for business development, proposals, client liaison and relationship management</li><li>Prepare documentation related to current or prospective projects, including correspondence, reports, proposals, expressions of interest, and specifications</li><li>Perform Contract Administration duties, including contractor interaction, progress payment certificates and convene progress site meetings</li><li>Communicate and work with other project team members in Kitchener and other regional offices to provide quality service to clients on projects of varying scope and complexity</li><li>Support new business development</li><li>Liaise with and assist other departments and offices in the provision of design services to other clients, as applicable</li><li>Perform financial and budget control duties on projects</li><li>Respond to contractor and public inquiries</li></ul>
