This role is the key integrator between Category Management, Program Management, Engineering, Finance, Manufacturing, and the supply base.</div></div><div><div><div><div>Connection to the different business units and procurement functions will drive this dynamic role to lead, influence and accelerates learning by developing a strong understanding of our business leading to rapid career development opportunities.YOUR IMPACTThese duties are not meant to be all-inclusive and other duties may be assigned.<ul><li>Responsible for ensuring purchasing cost targets, timing requirements, technical and quality requirements are met for all phases of the project.</li><li>Key representative on a cross functional NPD team being the conduit of all project details and activities to the supply chain organization.</li><li>Organize NPD kickoff meetings with the right internal stakeholders in procurement to drive awareness of goals and key deliverable (Timing, cost, resources, etc.) of the project.</li><li>Source new components ensuring consistent adherence to defined category strategies and business objectives.</li><li>Lead key supplier meetings and action item tracking specific to achieving the goals of the NPD project.</li><li>Implement sourcing plans and strategies to effectively manage sourcing activities related to assigned projects and maximize supplier performance (cost, quality, delivery) including placing orders if required.</li><li>Analyze technical drawings and specifications to facilitate sourcing of parts and products.</li><li>Document and report out project status to leadership at each project phase, including action plans and timelines for assigned projects.</li><li>Identify opportunities/lessons learned and implement actions to continually improve efficiency and productivity from assigned tasks.</li><li>Lead and guide tactical buyers and quality engineers to drive project deliverables.</li><li>Support other duties as assigned in addition to, or in lieu of those described above, according to the needs of the business.</li></ul>MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS<ul><li>Bachelor’s degree with three (3) or more years of experience within in Supply Chain or a related field.</li><li>OR equivalent combination of education and experience.</li><li>Ability to travel 10%.</li></ul>STANDOUT QUALIFICATIONS <ul><li>Relevant industry related certifications.</li><li>Supply chain experience within the manufacturing industry.</li><li>Ability to effectively communicate.</li><li>Strong organizational skills with exceptional follow through and attention to detail.</li><li>Strong time-management and prioritization skills, able to multi-task and prioritize competing requirements and meet deadlines.</li><li>Ability to work in a fast-paced environment where requirements are constantly changing.</li><li>Experience and proficiency with various web-based software applications including Microsoft Office Word, Excel, PowerPoint, SharePoint, etc.</li></ul>WHY OSHKOSH?Moving the future forward is our priority and this includes your future.
