TCS provides application-specific, multi-core cable, and ruggedized assemblies for a variety of industries.Job Summary: General facility and machine troubleshooting, repair and maintenance.  ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES include the following.  Other duties may be assigned.<ul><li>Machine repair, rebuilding and retrofitting, Pneumatics, Hydraulics, Structural, Electrical, and Electronics (Basic working knowledge of PLC’s, Drives, etc.)</li><li>Performs preventive maintenance for manufacturing equipment to electrical, mechanical and safety standards.</li><li>Ability to troubleshoot and diagnose cause of electrical and mechanical malfunction or failure of manufacturing equipment and apply corrective action to resolve re-occurring issues.</li><li>Ability to utilize various diagnostic equipment and measuring devices such as voltmeters, calipers, micrometers and oscilloscopes for troubleshooting and monitoring equipment performance.</li><li>Perform basic plumbing, electrical and structure repair in and around the facility</li><li>Work in a safe and organized manner</li><li>Assist with the installation of new equipment</li><li>Ability to safely use a variety of hand and power tools as required</li><li>Perform Lockout and Tagout (LOTO) procedures in accordance with company policy.</li><li>Working knowledge of PC based Microsoft office programs: Outlook, Word, Excel</li><li>Prior Forklift certification.</li><li>Excellent organizational skills and ability to handle multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment.</li><li>Excellent verbal &amp; written communication skills with strong attention to detail</li><li>Ability to read/interpret documents such as drawings, work instructions, process sheets, shop orders, etc.</li><li>Good driving record and current, valid driver license to operate company vehicle as required.</li><li>Availability for overtime as required.</li></ul>EDUCATION AND/OR EXPERIENCE<ul><li>Associate degree in a related field from a two-year college or technical school.</li><li>Minimum 5 years related experience; or equivalent combination of training and experience.</li><li>Manufacturing automation equipment experience is a plus.</li></ul>Due to the nature of the work performed at our facility all applicants must hold US PERSON STATUS.<h3></h3><h3>A "U.S. person" can be:</h3><ul><li>A U.S. Citizen by birth or naturalization.</li><li>A permanent resident who does not work for a foreign company, a foreign government, or a foreign governmental agency/organization.</li><li>A political asylee.</li></ul>  Teledyne and all of our employees are committed to conducting business with the highest ethical standards.
