<div><div>Experience working with Wind Turbines is required! </div><div>A DAY IN THE LIFE </div><div>Installation Summary:  </div><div><ul><li>Raise, place, and unite iron and other structural members to form completed structures or structural frameworks.  </li></ul></div><div><ul><li>Assembling and installing tower sections, nacelles, and rotor blades using cranes and rigging equipment.  </li></ul></div><div><ul><li>Aligning and bolting tower components according to engineering specifications and safety standards.  </li></ul></div><div><ul><li>Performing torque and tension checks on bolts and fasteners to ensure structural integrity. </li></ul></div><div> Tower Wiring Summary:  </div><div><ul><li>Pulling and routing power, control, and communication cables through the tower sections. </li></ul></div><div><ul><li>Securing cables using cable trays, clamps, and ties to prevent movement or damage. </li></ul></div><div><ul><li>Making precise terminations of cables at junction boxes, control panels, and connectors. </li></ul></div><div><ul><li>Ensuring proper torque and insulation for high-voltage and low-voltage connections. </li></ul></div><div><ul><li>Perform additional electrical and wiring tasks as required to support turbine installation and maintenance. </li></ul></div><div><ul><li>Verify all systems meet electrical codes and manufacturer specifications. </li></ul></div><div> </div><div>This is a hands-on, active role that keeps you moving and engaged throughout the day. You’ll be on your feet often—standing, walking, climbing, and using your hands to operate tools and equipment. You’ll also be bending, kneeling, crouching, or working in tight spaces when the job calls for it. While there may be occasional sitting, this is a role for someone who enjoys staying physically active. </div><div>You should be comfortable lifting up to 25 pounds regularly and up to 50 pounds frequently. Daily tasks will require working at heights over 350 feet or in confined spaces, so being steady and safety-conscious is key. </div><div>Good vision is important for this role—including depth perception, color recognition, and the ability to focus on details both near and far. </div><div>While performing the duties of this Job, the employee is regularly exposed to outside weather conditions. The employee is occasionally moving mechanical parts; is exposed to fumes or airborne particles; interacts with substances requiring careful handling; exposed to risk of electrical shock and vibration.
