The Arden campus offers a multitude of career opportunities and is in the beautiful mountains of Western North Carolina.This position will organize, develop, lead and supervise the manufacturing function of a designated production area or process to ensure the achievement of the goals stated in the Business Plan for Safety, Quality, Production, Cost, Inventory, Delivery, and People. Key responsibilities<ul><li>Responsible for communicating and meeting daily production schedules as guided by the production scheduling group.</li><li>Performs set-ups and changeovers on machinery according to manufacturing specifications with the help of team members</li><li>Responsible for quality checks and testing of assembled components at end of line assembly process.</li><li>Requires the ability to identify proper tooling, understanding machinery and product for quality part manufacturing.</li><li>Utilizes various tools to set-up machinery correctly.</li><li>Assigns daily duties to team members and ensures team members follow standard work and/or work instructions.</li><li>Regularly provide input on staffing needs, overtime requirements, component part shortages, tooling, quality and productivity (including equipment uptime).</li><li>Ensure timely and accurate production reporting.</li><li>Develops and maintains standard work.</li><li>Operates equipment for team members during absences.</li><li>Be able to perform the team leader functions of three departments: your department and the two other departments assigned by the Supervisor or PLM.</li><li>Respond to abnormal events identified by team members.</li><li>Escalate abnormalities as appropriate.</li><li>Ensure 5S standards are met on a daily basis.</li><li>Oversee continuous training of operators.
