And that’s where you come in.Accountabilities<ul><li>The candidate will be included in a team responsible for the design of the TCMS system in accordance with the specific requirements of the Project and deriving from the railway regulations and standards. The team will take care of the entire software life cycle, from the specification phase to the validation phase in the laboratory. It will also support the validation phases on the first vehicle during the acceptance tests with the final customer</li><li>analysis of the requirements, the design and development of the embedded software for the on-board electronic control units.</li><li>TCMS system architecture definition for the specific project</li><li>Writing of functional and software requirements specifications</li><li>Software implementation and testing using company tools</li><li>Writing of product documentation according to company standards</li><li>Writing test cases to demonstrate coverage of requirements</li><li>Design review with Clients and Suppliers</li></ul>Required Skills/ Knowledge<ul><li>Experience of at least 1 years in the railway or equivalent industry with the role of Software Engineer</li><li>Excellent knowledge of C programming languages</li><li>Excellent knowledge of Matlab-Simulink-Stateflow</li><li>Ability to work effectively with all levels of the organisation, with the aptitude to contribute with constructive and practical ideas.</li><li>Readiness to work effectively in a collaborative, fast-paced, multitasking international environment.</li><li>Ability to work autonomously in teams and for projects is required.</li><li>Availability for short-term national and international business trip.</li></ul>Desired Skills/ Knowledge<ul><li>Knowledge of HTML5 languages, javascript</li><li>Knowledge of the Linux operating system for embedded applications</li><li>Work experience in the railway sector</li><li>Knowledge of Engineering Processes and Railway Operations.</li><li>Ability to manage and plan the assigned tasks independently and team-working.</li><li>Ability to analyze business requirements, problem-solving attitude and business process analysis.</li><li>Ability to face with the different internal functions (internal customer) and external (suppliers, customers, partners).</li><li>Planning and organization.</li><li>Versatile in learning and strong desire to remain up-to-date with changes in technology and best industry practices.</li><li>Strong business acumen &amp; technical skills.</li><li>Good communication and interpersonal skills.</li><li>Attitude to work in an international and multi-cultural reality.</li></ul>Education / Qualifications Degree in Telecommunication/Automation/Computer or Electronic Engineering.
