We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Team Lead for our Rail Accounts Payable Process. The ideal candidate will oversee the Accounts Payable team's daily operations, ensure timely and accurate processing of invoices, manage vendor relationships, payments, and lead process improvement initiatives.Key Responsibilities:<ul><li>Leadership and Supervision:<ul><li>Lead, mentor, and supervise the Rail Accounts Payable team.</li><li>Provide training and development opportunities for team members.</li><li>Conduct performance evaluations and provide feedback.</li></ul></li><li>Accounts Payable Operations:<ul><li>Oversee the processing of invoices and ensure timely payments to vendors.</li><li>Review and approve payment batches.</li><li>Resolve complex invoice discrepancies and issues.</li><li>Ensure compliance with company policies and procedures.</li><li>Co-ordinate with businesses to resolve AP-related matters</li><li>Collaborate with team members from all other towers.</li><li>Prepare, review, and report on statutory reports, tax matters such as sales tax and withholding tax.</li></ul></li><li>Vendor Management:<ul><li>Maintain strong relationships with vendors and address any payment-related inquiries.</li></ul></li><li>Process Improvement:<ul><li>Identify and implement process improvements to enhance efficiency and accuracy.</li><li>Develop and maintain standard operating procedures for the Accounts Payable function.</li></ul></li><li>Reporting and Analysis:<ul><li>Prepare and analyze accounts payable reports.</li><li>Monitor key performance indicators and provide regular updates to management.</li><li>Ensure all the SL to GL reconciliations are performed as per the timelines and variances if any fixed in the respective months.</li></ul></li></ul>
