You’ll bring your technical expertise and leadership skills to guide project teams through all stages of design and delivery. Here’s what you’ll do:As a Senior Engineer, you’ll take a leading role in the development of Active Travel and traffic engineering schemes, from concept through to detailed design and implementation. You’ll manage technical outputs, mentor junior staff, and ensure the successful delivery of high-quality, sustainable transport solutions. Key Responsibilities:<ul><li>Lead the design and delivery of traffic engineering, Active Travel, and urban realm schemes.</li><li>Prepare and review technical outputs including drawings, reports, and specifications.</li><li>Ensure all work meets project briefs, design standards, and regulatory requirements.</li><li>Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams across AECOM and external stakeholders.</li><li>Delegate and coordinate tasks for graduates and technicians, supporting their development.</li><li>Manage project timelines, budgets, and quality standards.</li><li>Champion Health &amp; Safety best practices, including CDM responsibilities.</li><li>Report regularly to the Principal Engineer or Project Manager on progress and risks</li></ul> What We’re Looking ForWe’re seeking a confident and capable engineer with a strong background in Active Travel and traffic engineering.
