The RoleWe are seeking a strategic and results-driven Supply Chain Planning and Operations Manager to join our existing supply planning team. This role expands our supply planning team to meet growing business demands and strengthen supply chain performance across our operations. You will work in close partnership with the current Manager in a collaborative and aligned setup, with the potential to focus on specific regions, product lines, or supplier relationships.In this role, you’ll lead the end-to-end S&amp;OP (Sales &amp; Operations Planning) supply planning process, ensuring customer requirements are met efficiently through optimized inventory levels across regional warehouses, while working closely with contract manufacturers, tollers, and internal cross-functional teams. LocationThis role can be located anywhere in Canada. If you are in Halifax or Saskatoon you will be hybrid, 3 days per week in office. Key Responsibilities<ul><li>Lead the S&amp;OP supply planning process, ensuring alignment between demand, manufacturing, materials, logistics, and inventory strategy.</li><li>Develop and maintain an 18–24-month rolling supply plan across all contract manufacturing and down-packing sites.</li><li>Facilitate the monthly S&amp;OP supply meeting, presenting scenarios and trade-offs to guide business decisions and mitigate risk.</li><li>Drive weekly operational meetings to reconcile short-term constraints and ensure fulfillment visibility for commercial teams.</li><li>Build and communicate inventory targets using demand variability, customer segmentation, and network lead times.</li><li>Collaborate with manufacturing and tolling partners to incorporate capacity, plant performance, maintenance schedules, and long-term improvement plans.</li><li>Escalate critical risks and opportunities to the senior leadership team and support decisions with financial analysis where needed.</li><li>Leverage data analytics and visualization tools to drive planning accuracy and continuous improvement.</li><li>Work closely with the existing Supply Chain Planning and Operations Manager to ensure alignment and consistency across planning activities.</li><li>Manage and optimize key performance indicators (KPIs) including:<ul><li>On-Time In-Full (OTIF) delivery performance</li><li>Inventory levels aligned with Order-to-Warehouse Cycle (OWC) targets</li><li>Minimizing stock-outs and blocked stock incidents</li><li>Forecast accuracy and plan adherence to drive supply chain efficiency</li></ul></li></ul> Qualifications &amp; Skills<ul><li>Minimum 5 years of experience in supply planning, S&amp;OP, or related operations roles.</li><li>Proficiency in ERP systems and planning tools; experience with Power BI and advanced Excel is required.</li><li>Strong understanding of manufacturing, inventory management, and logistics processes.</li><li>Demonstrated ability to lead cross-functional teams and influence decision-making.</li><li>Excellent communication skills, including the ability to present to and collaborate with senior leadership.</li><li>Strong critical thinking and problem-solving skills.</li><li>Strategic mindset with a hands-on approach to operational execution.</li></ul> Education<ul><li>Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Logistics, Engineering, or a related science discipline or equivalent experience</li><li>APICS, CPIM, or other supply chain certifications considered an asset.</li></ul> What We Offer Mara is proud to offer a competitive salary and benefits package, including but not limited to: <ul><li>Comprehensive medical, dental, and vision plan</li><li>Generous time off provisions</li><li>Flexible working arrangements</li><li>Physical Wellness Reimbursement Plan</li></ul> </div></div>
