At completion of stage 1 the plant will supply up to 50 billion litres of clean, safe drinking water to millions of Western Australians each year.</p><p>We are seeking to appoint a <b>Nightshift</b> <b>Safety Advisor </b>with Tunnels experience to joining an established safety team working on site at Alkimos.</p><p></p><p><b>Key responsibilities </b></p><ul><li>Undertake regular and systematic audits across multiple project sites, covering management systems, safe work procedures, behavioural safety and preventative measures.</li><li>Undertake site safety walks, either with the client or management, ensuring close out (hands on) of all corrective actions</li><li>Provide timely and expert HSEQ support, advice and assistance to all project and workshop personnel</li><li>Carry out and provide support during incident investigations</li><li>Help facilitate and have a consistent presence at pre-start meetings (a key safety preventative measure that requires robust and comprehensive risk assessment) and toolbox talks</li><li>Flexibility &amp; willingness to undertake working shifts on Saturdays, work through occupations and support night works as required</li></ul><div><div><div><div><div><div><div><p style="text-align:inherit;"></p><p style="text-align:left;"><b>Required Skills and Competencies</b></p></div></div></div></div></div></div></div><ul><li>You will have a minimum of a certificate IV in Work Health &amp; Safety, but further tertiary study highly regarded</li><li>You will have worked on TBM tunnelling projects.</li><li>You will be able to confidently assess a range or risks and potential hazards and put together safe working plans in line with Acciona's systems and process</li><li>Advanced communication skills and an ability to build and maintain effective working relationships with a broad range of stake holders</li><li>Flexibility &amp; willingness to undertake working shifts on Saturdays, work through occupations and support night works when required</li></ul><p></p><p><b>What we offer </b></p><p>At ACCIONA, we offer a dynamic and challenging work environment where our employees can grow and develop their careers.
