The ideal candidate will demonstrate a deep empathy for farmers, a proven track record of creating and running marketing projects with high attention to detail, and strong communication skills.Responsibilities <ul> <li>Lead the execution of marketing campaigns to drive awareness and adoption, including consistent application of approved messaging for key audiences, at both the farmer and retailer level</li> <li>Develop assets, and be able to work with agencies to develop assets, such as sell sheets, website pages, radio commercials, signs, powerpoint presentations, etc. </li> <li>Enable the sales team with messaging and collateral to drive revenue and retention</li> <li>Collaborate with marketing team at retail partners to create and execute co-branded campaigns, collateral, and assets</li> <li>Manage logistics, run-of-show, setup, attendance, and teardown of InnerPlant’s presence at key trade shows, CropVoice Field Days, and events in the Midwest</li> <li>During June through October, may require ~40% travel to key geographies in the Midwest to support events and meetings</li> </ul>RequirementsYou may be a great fit for this role if you:<ul> <li>Are authorized to work in the United States</li> <li>Located in the Midwest (Illinois, Iowa, or Nebraska)</li> <li>Communicate clearly, whether written, verbal, or in presentation</li> <li>Demonstrate excellence in successful execution of marketing projects/campaigns and strong attention to detail</li> <li>Learn quickly and are resourceful, particularly in ambiguous environments</li> <li>Demonstrate deep empathy for customers </li> <li>Demonstrate good judgment when making decisions</li> <li>Work effectively in a cross-functional team setting and maintain respectful relationships with teammates and external partners</li> <li>Work independently and ask for guidance when needed</li> </ul>Additional skills that are preferred:<ul> <li>2-5 years of marketing experience </li> <li>Passionate about agriculture, particularly production agriculture in commodity row cropping systems.
