<p> </p><p><strong>Job Overview:</strong></p><p>As a Traveling Field Technician, you will be responsible for performing on-site installation, maintenance, and repair of technical systems and equipment. You will work closely with customers and internal teams to ensure the proper functioning of systems and troubleshoot any issues that may arise. This role will require extensive amounts of overnight travel to our different locations, including California, Wisconsin, North Dakota, Michigan, and Florida. </p><p><strong>Key Responsibilities:</strong></p><ul><li>On-site Installation and Setup:</li><ul><li>Travel to different field locations to install and set up technical equipment.</li><li>Ensure that installations are completed according to specifications and meet quality standards.</li></ul><li>Maintenance and Repairs:</li><ul><li>Conduct routine maintenance checks on equipment to ensure optimal performance.</li><li>Diagnose and troubleshoot technical issues, performing repairs as needed.</li><li>Collaborate with the technical support team to resolve complex problems.</li></ul><li>Documentation:</li><ul><li>Maintain accurate records of equipment installations, maintenance activities, and repairs.</li><li>Prepare detailed reports on service visits, including findings and solutions implemented.</li></ul></ul><p><strong>Requirements:</strong></p><ul><li>High school diploma or equivalent; Technical certifications or relevant vocational training is a plus.</li><li>3-5 years of experience in a similar field technician role, field experience in an agricultural environment – an advantage</li><li>Proficient in diagnosing and repairing technical equipment.</li><li>Basic knowledge of electrical and mechanical systems.</li><li>Strong communication and interpersonal skills; ability to convey technical information to non-technical individuals.</li><li>Analytical mindset with strong problem-solving abilities.</li><li>Ability to think quickly and make decisions in high-pressure situations.</li><li>Must have a desire to travel extensively overnights throughout the U.S<br>and work flexible hours, including weekends, if necessary.</li><li>Ability to work in field settings and outdoors, in a Bee environment</li></ul>
