AECOM is seeking a Senior Highway Project/Design Manager to be based in Los Angeles, CA.Job Responsibilities<ul><li>Manages and leads a team of professionals, overseeing the design of large-complex projects.</li><li>Manages design effort, design schedule, and budgets.</li><li>Implements and oversees change and risk management processes throughout the project lifecycle.</li><li>Coordinates client needs and develops/builds on relationships for future opportunities.</li><li>Mentors, develops, and hires support staff to maintain a high-performing team.</li><li>Monitors contract compliance and leads project dispute/resolution process.</li><li>Leads and assists in the development of future design-build proposals.</li><li>Builds and maintains relationships with project owners/AHJ's.</li><li>Ensures compliance with all relevant codes, standards, and regulations in highway design projects.</li><li>Collaborates with cross-functional teams, including engineers, architects, and construction managers, to optimize project outcomes.</li><li>Conducts regular project status meetings and prepares comprehensive reports for stakeholders.</li><li>Implements innovative design solutions to improve project efficiency and cost-effectiveness.</li><li>Manages project resources, including personnel, equipment, and materials, to ensure optimal utilization.</li><li>Develops and maintains project documentation, including design plans, specifications, and technical reports.</li><li>Represents the company at industry events, conferences, and client meetings to promote AECOM's design-build capabilities.</li></ul>
