Specifically, the job duties include:Duties and responsibilities Description of duties:<ul><li>Demonstrate hands-on proficiency with major CAD tools (e.g., Catia, UG) and FEA tools (e.g., Ansys) for mechanical design and analysis.</li><li>Possess experience and skills in design optimization, as well as NVH (Noise, Vibration, and Harshness) simulation, analysis, and testing.</li><li>Exhibit familiarity with e-powertrain development, including design, analysis, testing, prototyping, and manufacturing technologies; demonstrate knowledge of materials, machining processes, heat treatment, electrical insulation, and assembly.</li><li>Oversee mechanical, electrical, and thermal design, analysis, assembly, and testing activities.</li><li>Plan, execute, and analyze design-of-experiments for product validation and durability testing.</li><li>Conduct benchmarking studies of emerging and cutting-edge technologies.</li><li>Lead troubleshooting efforts in prototyping, assembly, and testing phases.</li><li>Maintain expertise in assembly and testing procedures, applying both analytical and hands-on approaches.</li><li>Leverage experience with 3D CAD models and 2D manufacturing drawings for component and assembly design.</li><li>Collaborate closely with cross-functional teams of engineers and technicians.</li><li>Allocate at least 20% of work time for business travel as required.</li></ul>Minimum Requirements:<ul><li>M.S. degree with 3+ years or B.S.  degree with 5+ years of working experience in relevant industry.</li><li>Great team worker; excellent problem solving and communication skills.</li></ul>SERES is an equal opportunity employer committed to a culturally diverse workforce.
