These dynamic opportunities require individuals who thrive in a fast paced and integrated team environment.Please apply if you are interested in an opportunity to work collaboratively while supporting various work programs for the following roles.<ul><li>Cost Analyst</li><li>Cost &amp; Schedule Analyst</li><li>Cost Planner</li></ul>The Project Controls roles specific to cost ensure budget alignment with project goals by managing forecasts, variances, and cost reporting. Responsibilities include monitoring and analyzing costs, identifying risks and trends, supporting month-end close and phase gates, establishing baselines, tracking earned value metrics, and evaluating supplier contracts to optimize costs.Key Responsibilities:<ul><li>Manage project cost functions, including budgets, forecasts, and variances, to ensure alignment with portfolio and project objectives.</li><li>Perform cost analysis, identify risks, trends, conflicts, and opportunities, and provide recommendations for prompt corrective actions.</li><li>Maintain accurate budgets, contract commitments, actual costs, and forecasts, in the cost control system database.</li><li>Collaborate with stakeholders to establish and maintain cost baselines.</li><li>Support month-end closing and phase gate processes by coordinating, managing, reporting, and analyzing cost data.</li><li>Monitor variances, report trends, and assist with recovery plans to maintain financial control.</li><li>Evaluate and negotiate supplier and vendor contracts to optimize project costs and enhance profitability.</li><li>Monitor Earned Value Management metrics to support variance reporting and identify trends to the project team.</li><li>Perform other duties as assigned.</li></ul>Education and Experience:<ul><li>Bachelor’s degree in engineering, business, computer science, or equivalent; consideration for three-year diploma with experience.</li><li>Minimum 5 years of project cost management experience within the construction or engineering industry.</li><li>Strong analytical skills and attention to detail, with the ability to work collaboratively across multidisciplinary teams.</li><li>Proficient with project controls tools: Primavera P6, Eco Sys, Active Risk Manager (ARM), and Microsoft suite of tools (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Outlook, Power BI); quick to learn new tools and technologies.</li><li>PMI - Project Management Institute or AACE - Association for the Advancement of Cost Engineers International Certification is considered an asset.</li></ul>Are you ready for a change?Please attach a cover letter and resume, indicating your education and experience as it relates to this opportunity.
