Reporting directly to the CFO, this role is responsible for ensuring the accuracy, completeness, and timeliness of financial reporting across all Landis+Gyr entities. You will manage the monthly, quarterly, and annual closing and consolidation process, maintain high-quality accounting standards, and deliver transparent, reliable financial information to support decision-making at the executive level. This position plays a key role in strengthening financial governance, optimizing processes, and driving continuous improvement within the Finance organization. Key Responsibilities:<ul style="text-align:justify;"><li>Lead and coordinate the monthly, quarterly, and annual financial closing and consolidation for all group entities.</li><li>Ensure accurate, complete, and compliant financial reporting in line with applicable accounting standards and internal governance.</li><li>Oversee the preparation of statutory and consolidated financial statements, ensuring accuracy and timely delivery.</li><li>Maintain and enhance the group accounting and reporting framework, including policies, procedures, and internal controls.</li><li>Manage intercompany reconciliation and ensure consistency across entities and reporting structures.</li><li>Act as the primary contact for external auditors, ensuring a smooth and efficient audit process.</li><li>Provide technical accounting guidance to finance teams and management on complex transactions and reporting issues.</li><li>Drive process improvement, automation, and standardization in accounting and consolidation activities.</li><li>Support the CFO with management and shareholder reporting, including analysis of financial results and KPIs.</li><li>Lead, coach, and develop the accounting and consolidation team, fostering a culture of collaboration, accountability, and professional excellence.</li></ul> Profile:<ul><li style="text-align:justify;">Degree in Finance, Accounting, or Economics; professional accounting qualification (e.g., CPA, ACCA, Swiss Certified Accountant) is an advantage.</li><li style="text-align:justify;">10+ years of experience in accounting, consolidation, and financial reporting in an international or multi-entity environment.</li><li style="text-align:justify;">Proven track record in preparing consolidated financial statements and coordinating audits.</li><li style="text-align:justify;">Strong knowledge of accounting frameworks, internal controls, and financial systems.</li><li style="text-align:justify;">Experience in leading small, high-performing teams.</li><li style="text-align:justify;">Proficient in ERP and consolidation systems with a strong focus on process efficiency and automation.</li><li style="text-align:justify;">Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills with high attention to detail.</li><li style="text-align:justify;">Fluent in English; German is an advantage.</li><li style="text-align:justify;">Hands-on, pragmatic mindset with a strong sense of accuracy, integrity, and accountability.</li></ul>  We value and encourage diversity in our team.
