The duration is 6 months, with the possibility of further extension.How you'll make an impact<ul><li>Develop data exchange between an existing MATLAB optimization tool and an external LCA engine</li><li>Analyze the environmental metrics and trade-offs of power electronics components design</li><li>Document the workflow and support automation of repeated runs</li><li>Collaborate with experts in a multi-disciplinary research team</li><li>Present progress updates and results, and write technical reports</li><li>Contribute to scientific publications</li></ul>Your background<ul><li>Currently pursuing an MSc degree in software engineering, data science, environmental engineering, materials science, chemistry, physics, electrical/mechanical engineering, or a similar subject – official enrolment is essential</li><li>Programming experience (e.g. working with parametric data, automating workflows, integrating external tools)</li><li>Knowledge of Life Cycle Assessment basics (ISO 14040/44) and interest in environmental sustainability</li><li>Experience in Python and Python-based LCA modelling (e.g. Brightway, OpenLCA API) is a plus</li><li>Proficiency in English, both written and spoken</li><li>Enthusiastic, motivated and curious team player with good organizational skills</li></ul>More about usWe look forward to receiving your application, including a brief cover letter and a transcript of records, along with your CV (as one pdf file).
