Position OverviewWe are seeking a highly driven distribution candidate to represent Apollo in the Southeast Asia (SEA) Global Wealth channel. The candidate will join a fast-paced environment as a member of Apollo’s Global Wealth Management APAC team in our Singapore office. This role will suit a high performing sales professional looking to support our global wealth management sales efforts across SEA and contribute to strategic business priorities.Primary Responsibilities<ul><li>Play a key role in driving the Global Wealth Management (GWM) business in SEA which represents a key strategic priority market for Apollo, working in close partnership with the GWM APAC team, the APAC Capital Formation team and senior leadership across Asia.</li><li>Contribute to Apollo’s SEA global wealth sales strategy, leveraging industry mapping, peer analysis, and strategic planning to ensure business development goals and strategic fundraise objectives are being met.</li><li>Proactively deepen and manage relationships with key distributors across the SEA region, including global/regional/local banks and wealth platforms.</li><li>Work closely with the GWM APAC team for the entire onboarding, due diligence, fund-raising and post sales life cycle with private wealth distribution partners to provide best-in-class service.</li><li>Develop expertise in private markets and Apollo’s investment solutions across different asset classes and fund structures, be able to strongly represent the firm in delivering market insights and product presentations.</li><li>In coordination with the global Events &amp; Brand Marketing team, plan and organize various investor marketing outreach activities including roadshows, due diligence sessions and client events.</li></ul>Qualifications &amp; Experience<ul><li>At least 8-12 years of prior experience, preferably within an alternative asset management firm or wealth management firm.</li><li>Strong knowledge of the SEA private wealth distribution landscape with a demonstrable track record of success raising assets from HNW investors and possess a results-oriented and profit-driven mentality.</li><li>Sound understanding of alternatives and the ability to advise investors on their investment needs, building a strong relationship of trust effectively.</li><li>Excellent interpersonal skills with the ability to work well with colleagues, partners and clients to operate within the One-Apollo mindset – where cooperation and collaboration is vital to success.</li><li>Strong written and verbal communication skills including preparation and delivery of presentations.</li><li>Solid executor with strong analytical and problem-solving skills. Understand complex clients’ needs and able to deliver first class service throughout product life cycle to clients.</li><li>An enthusiastic self-starter with a proactive and hands-on approach.
