Collaborate with system engineers to ensure alignment of ADAS feature requirements and soundness of the system design. <ul><li>Software Design and Architecture: </li></ul>Design robust and scalable ADAS software architectures for high level feature integration that meet functional, safety, and performance requirements.  <ul><li>State Machine Implementation: </li></ul>Design, implement and maintain state machine models, notification framework and fault detection and reaction for various ADAS features, including active safety, driving, and viewing functions. Perform software unit testing, SIL/HIL testing and vehicle testing to validate the implementation. <ul><li>Software Integration:  Work closely with development teams to integrate software components and interfaces within the motion planning and control software stack across diverse vehicle platforms. Validate the system level behavior and debug integration issues, configure and maintain build processes and support CI/CD pipeline setups and improvements. </li></ul><ul><li>Collaboration and Cross-functional Engagement: </li></ul>Work closely with cross-functional teams, including system and validation engineers, to ensure seamless integration of ADAS features into the overall vehicle system. Provide technical expertise and support to ensure successful feature delivery. <ul><li>Continuous Improvement and Optimization: </li></ul>Identify opportunities for improvement in feature development processes and continuously optimize workflows to improve efficiency. <ul><li>Documentation and Reporting: </li></ul>Maintain clear and comprehensive documentation for software design, software requirements, unit test cases and results. Ensure proper traceability from requirements to implementation.  Required Qualifications:  Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or a related field with equivalent expertise.  8+ years of related work experience in software integration. Proven experience in completing the full production cycle of ADAS/AD features, including requirement analysis, software design, implementation, unit testing, ADAS (or other systems) feature tuning, SIL/HIL testing, and vehicle deployment.  Excellent modeling skills in (Matlab/Simulink or similar) and programming languages such as C/C++. Experience with communication protocols such as CAN, Ethernet, and ECU network communication tools (e.g., Vector CANape, CANoe). Familiarity with middleware solutions like Data Distribution Services (DDS), including understanding its role in enabling real-time, scalable data exchange in distributed systems. Hands-on experience in software integration with embedded platforms, including Nvidia Xavier/Orin and Aurix, along with expertise in debugging, fault handling, and diagnostics across various processing boards. Familiarity in working with CI/CD pipelines to streamline development and testing processes. Exceptional communication skills, with the ability to quickly adapt to changing environments and demonstrate innovative problem-solving abilities.  Preferred Qualifications:  6 years and a Master’s degree; or a PhD with 3 years experience Strong knowledge of autonomous systems (ADAS/AD and/or Robotics) with expertise in one or more domains of behavior planning, motion planning and control. Experience with ADAS/AD system design and validation, both in a simulation environment and real-time in vehicle.  Experience with functional safety standards (e.g., ISO 26262) and AUTOSAR, including both basic software and application-level implementation for safety-critical features. <div>At Lucid, we don’t just welcome diversity - we celebrate it!
