A member of our Talent Acquisition team will contact you if a suitable position becomes available.**Learn More about our Systems Roles:Data Engineering Roles<ul><li>Design, implement, and maintain production-quality data pipelines and transformation workflows with clear, reproducible documentation.</li><li>Optimize existing pipelines for performance, scalability, and reliability.</li><li>Manage large-scale video data storage, indexing, and retrieval systems.</li><li>Develop ETL/ELT workflows using orchestration tools (e.g., Airflow).</li><li>Deploy and manage containerized workloads in Docker/Kubernetes environments.</li><li>Maintain data governance practices, including schema enforcement, versioning, and compliance documentation.</li></ul>Systems Engineering Roles<ul><li>Define, manage, and trace system requirements across the development lifecycle.</li><li>Translate mission needs and operational analyses into Key Performance Parameters and system-level requirements.</li><li>Serve as a technical liaison to customers to ensure solutions meet mission and performance expectations.</li><li>Collaborate with design teams to develop and maintain Model-Based Systems Engineering (MBSE) artifacts, including structural and behavioral diagrams.</li><li>Partner with business development to propose new system architectures and applications.</li></ul>Modeling &amp; Simulation Roles<ul><li>Develop and refine models to simulate performance at the subsystem, system, and system-of-systems level.</li><li>Conduct engineering trade studies to inform product requirements and design decisions.</li><li>Evaluate system architectures to balance mission effectiveness, cost, and technical feasibility.</li><li>Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to validate models and drive informed decision-making.</li><li>Propose and analyze operational concepts (CONOPs) for new applications and technologies.</li></ul> Basic Qualifications<ul><li>Minimum of 2 years of professional engineering experience in one or more of the following domains: Systems Engineering, Data Engineering, or Modeling &amp; Simulation.</li><li>Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Science, Aerospace Engineering, or a related technical field.</li><li>Demonstrated experience contributing to the definition or management of a technical system baseline.</li><li>Proficiency in at least one programming language (e.g., Python, C, or C++).</li></ul> Preferred Qualifications<ul><li>Advanced degree (MS or PhD) in a relevant discipline.</li><li>Experience working with RF systems, including radar, communications, electronic warfare (EW), or phased array systems.</li><li>Familiarity with MBSE tools and methodologies.</li><li>Experience deploying data systems in containerized environments (Docker/Kubernetes).</li><li>Knowledge of DoD or defense contracting environments is a plus.</li></ul>  ITAR REQUIREMENTS:  To conform to U.S. Government export regulations, applicant must be a (i) U.S. citizen or national, (ii) U.S. lawful, permanent resident (aka green card holder), (iii) Refugee under 8 U.S.C. § 1157, or (iv) Asylee under 8 U.S.C. § 1158, or be eligible to obtain the required authorizations from the U.S. Department of State.   At Epirus, you’ll work with technical peers and great people—and get first crack at some of the defining technology challenges of our time.
