This individual will be responsible for producing compelling content across Radiant’s digital channels – bringing our groundbreaking work to life for audiences ranging from policymakers to the general public. The ideal candidate will be equally comfortable behind a camera, at a design desk, or writing copy that resonates. Responsibilities and Duties: <ul><li>Conceptualize, shoot, and edit short-form video, photo, and multimedia content for social platforms (LinkedIn, X, YouTube, Instagram, etc.). </li><li>Draft engaging captions, headlines, and narratives tailored to each channel and audience. </li><li>Develop simple graphics, infographics, and layouts to support campaigns and storytelling. </li><li>Collaborate with the rest of the communications and marketing team to plan, publish, engage with, and monitor content across channels. </li><li>Capture the unique culture of Radiant through both polished and guerrilla-style content (e.g., behind-the-scenes videos from engineers, rapid-response posts during key milestones). </li><li>Track performance and stay current with platform updates, emerging formats, and creative best practices. </li></ul>Qualifications <ul><li>2-5+ years of experience in a social media/content-focused position. </li><li>Proven experience creating social media content (portfolio of video, photography, and design work required). </li><li>Proficiency in video editing software (Premiere Pro, Final Cut, or equivalent) and basic graphic design tools (Canva, Photoshop, Illustrator). </li><li>Strong copywriting skills with the ability to shift tone from technical to accessible. </li><li>Experience managing content across multiple platforms, understanding platform-specific audiences and algorithms. </li><li>Ability to work independently, take initiative, and thrive in a fast-paced, startup environment. </li><li>A passion for science, technology, and storytelling. Experience in energy, engineering, or complex technology sectors is a plus.</li></ul>Additional Qualifications <ul><li>Must be willing to work extended hours or weekends as needed to accomplish the mission </li><li>Must work 100% onsite at Radiant’s El Segundo HQ. </li><li>Occasional travel for content capture as needed. </li></ul><div>Total Compensation and BenefitsRadiant's new hire compensation package includes base salary, substantial equity grants, and comprehensive benefits.
