Job Title: Electrical Engineer – Sewage Treatment Plant (STP) &amp; Infrastructure ProjectsPosition Overview: The Electrical Engineer will work under the supervision of the Resident Engineer and Project Manager as part of the construction supervision team on major infrastructure and Sewage Treatment Plant (STP) projects. The role focuses on the design review, construction supervision, installation, testing, and commissioning of electrical systems for STPs, pumping stations, and rising mains.Key Responsibilities:<ul><li>Supervise electrical works for STP, pumping stations, rising mains, and related infrastructure projects within the UAE.</li><li>Ensure compliance with Dubai Municipality, DEWA, and other relevant electrical engineering standards and regulations.</li><li>Oversee installation, testing, and commissioning of MV/LV electrical systems, control panels, transformers, switchgear, and power distribution networks.</li><li>Review and provide technical comments on contractor submissions, including shop drawings, method statements, material submittals, ITPs, and FAT/SAT reports.</li><li>Support QA/QC activities by preparing inspection and test plans, monitoring quality inspectors, and ensuring works meet project specifications.</li><li>Coordinate with design teams to resolve technical queries and confirm material compliance with approved specifications.</li><li>Monitor construction progress, identify risks or delays, and report updates to the Resident Engineer/Project Manager.</li><li>Review and verify as-built drawings to ensure they accurately reflect approved changes and site conditions.</li><li>Ensure proper interface coordination between electrical systems and mechanical works during installation and commissioning.</li><li>Maintain effective communication with the client, contractor, and stakeholders to ensure timely and quality project delivery.</li><li>Mentor and guide junior engineers and inspectors, promoting best practices and high safety standards.</li></ul>
