This role is responsible for designing, implementing, and maintaining our CI/CD pipelines, managing releases, and ensuring smooth deployment of applications and infrastructure. The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, thrives in fast-paced environments, and has strong experience in automation, cloud platforms, and release management.Key Responsibilities:<ul><li style="font-weight:400;">Support and work alongside a cross-functional engineering team on the latest technologies to ensure that development follows established processes and works as intended</li><li style="font-weight:400;">Deploy and maintain critical applications on cloud-native serverless architectures</li><li style="font-weight:400;">Improve the build system, CI/CD pipelines, and developer tools</li><li style="font-weight:400;">Proactively identify needs for internal automation, tools, and infrastructure and deliver user friendly, reliable solutions</li><li style="font-weight:400;">Advocate for DevOps best practices, continuous improvement, and team-wide adoption.</li><li style="font-weight:400;">Release Management :Automate build, release, and test pipelines for firmware, internal tool, cloud infrastructure, and QA codebases</li><li style="font-weight:400;">Collaborate with development, QA, and product teams to schedule and execute releases smoothly </li></ul>Minimum Qualifications:<ul><li style="font-weight:400;">B.S. in Computer Science or related field</li><li style="font-weight:400;">At least 3-5 years experience as a DevOps Engineer or similar software engineering role</li><li style="font-weight:400;">Strong programming skills in a modern language, like Python and Java</li><li style="font-weight:400;">Strong knowledge of CI/CD tools (e.g., GitHub Actions)</li><li style="font-weight:400;">Experience with infrastructure automation technologies, like Docker and AWS CloudFormation/CDK</li><li style="font-weight:400;">Experience managing a multi-account AWS Organization and leveraging SSO, IAM, and networking (VPC)</li><li style="font-weight:400;">Familiarity with monitoring and logging tools (e.g., Grafana,Datadog)</li><li style="font-weight:400;">Savviness in leveraging off the shelf services, libraries, and APIs to build custom in-house solutions</li><li style="font-weight:400;">Experience building and maintaining release and testing automation</li><li style="font-weight:400;">Excellent communication, documentation, and cross-team collaboration skills </li></ul>Preferred Qualifications:<ul><li style="font-weight:400;">Experience with microservices architecture and service mesh technologies</li><li style="font-weight:400;">Knowledge of security best practices for CI/CD and cloud environments</li></ul><ul><li style="font-weight:400;">Experience with SQL queries, data analysis, and dashboards</li><li style="font-weight:400;">Experience with services for IoT devices (experience with AWS IoT specifically is great, but not required)</li><li style="font-weight:400;">Experience with event driven architectures and serverless technologies.</li><li style="font-weight:400;">Real world experience scaling and optimizing services</li><li style="font-weight:400;">Experience with infrastructure management tools like Terraform or Pulumi</li><li style="font-weight:400;">Knowledge of Apple App Store and Google Play Store release processes</li><li style="font-weight:400;">Experience with Fastlane or other mobile app release automation tools</li></ul>The estimated base salary range for this position is $175k to $200k, which does not include the value of benefits or a potential equity grant.
