Our projects span the Southwest and are expanding into new regions nationwide. Electrical Superintendent – Traveling Role ResponsibilitiesLeadership &amp; Project Support<ul><li>Travel to project sites across the U.S. to provide direct support to site teams.</li><li>Step in as needed to oversee construction activities, provide supervision, and maintain continuity across multiple projects.</li><li>Plan, organize, and direct the work of electricians and apprentices on-site.</li><li>Collaborate with project teams to review electrical plans, site layouts, and installation strategies.</li><li>Ensure all safety measures and regulations are followed, prioritizing accident prevention and worker well-being.</li><li>Monitor progress, identify needs, and provide timely reports to site superintendents and the Director of Construction.</li></ul>Training &amp; Mentorship<ul><li>Conduct on-site training sessions on installation methodologies and safety practices.</li><li>Reinforce knowledge of the National Electrical Code and company standards.</li><li>Train crews on conduit/wiring runs, combiner box installation, homeruns, and tool management.</li><li>Mentor electricians and apprentices, fostering skill development and team growth.</li></ul>Supervisory Responsibilities<ul><li>Supervise electricians and apprentices as required at each site.</li><li>Provide coaching, counseling, and corrective feedback in line with company policies.</li></ul>Work Environment<ul><li>Fast-paced and ever-changing project settings.</li><li>Work outdoors in extreme environments (heat, cold, wind, sun).</li><li>Ability to work in confined spaces, at heights, and on rooftops.</li><li>100% field-based role with extensive nationwide travel.</li></ul>Qualifications Requirements (Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities)<ul><li>Minimum of four (4) years’ experience as a Journeyman Licensed Electrician.</li><li>Strong working knowledge of electrical systems, construction practices, and troubleshooting.</li><li>Ability to read blueprints, perform equipment layout, and oversee large-scale electrical installations.</li><li>Advanced conduit bending skills (½” through 1” EMT).</li><li>Strong working knowledge of the National Electrical Code.</li><li>Excellent communication and organizational skills, with proven ability to lead and motivate crews.</li><li>Ability to pass background and drug screening; clean driving record required.</li><li>Must be willing and able to travel nationwide on an ongoing basis.</li></ul> Equal Opportunity StatementGridworks is an equal opportunity employer.
