We are dedicated to cultivating an equitable and inclusive environment that embraces our differences, and supports and celebrates all of our team members.</span></p></div><h2><strong>What you’ll do: </strong></h2><ul><li>Develop detailed 3D CAD models of composite aerostructures, including skins, spars, ribs, frames, and other associated components, using Siemens NX.</li><li>Utilize Fibersim to define and optimize composite ply layups, fiber orientations, and material specifications for various aerostructure components.</li><li>Generate comprehensive 3D engineering datasets, including geometric dimensioning and tolerancing (GD&amp;T), material callouts, and assembly instructions.</li><li>Collaborate with stress engineers to incorporate structural analysis results into design iterations.</li><li>Work closely with manufacturing engineers to ensure designs are optimized for composite manufacturing processes (e.g., automated fiber placement, hand layup, resin infusion).</li><li>Perform design reviews and provide constructive feedback to peers.</li><li>Manage and maintain CAD data within a Teamcenter PLM.</li><li>Contribute to the continuous improvement of design processes and best practices.</li></ul><h2><strong>What you need:</strong></h2><ul><li>Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering, Aerospace Engineering, or a related technical field, or equivalent practical experience.</li><li>3+ years of experience in CAD design of composite aerostructures.</li><li>Proficiency in Siemens NX is required.</li><li>Demonstrated experience with Fibersim for composite ply definition and optimization is required.</li><li>Understanding of composite materials, manufacturing processes, and their impact on design.</li><li>Experience with GD&amp;T principles and application.</li><li>Ability to interpret and apply engineering specifications and standards.</li><li>Excellent communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment.</li><li>Experience with PLM systems (e.g., Teamcenter) is a plus.</li><li>Familiarity with aerospace industry standards and regulations (e.g., FAA) is a plus.</li></ul><p>At Archer we aim to attract, retain, and motivate talent that possess the skills and leadership necessary to grow our business.
