BU SoBa operates along the full value chain – from early-stage development and financing to construction and operations – with the clear ambition to grow a profitable and scalable solar &amp; storage portfolio as a cornerstone of a future-proof energy system. Your Role – What You’ll Be Doing As M&amp;A Transaction Manager in Solar &amp; Batteries, you will be responsible for managing and executing complex renewable energy transactions. Your key responsibilities include:<ul><li>End-to-End Sell-Side Management: Conduct the full transaction cycle for solar, battery and hybrid projects, from internal approvals, due diligence and data room preparation to investor outreach, negotiations and closing.</li><li>Buy-Side Execution: Evaluate new acquisition opportunities, coordinate commercial and technical due diligence and offer preparation and deal structuring aligned with BU SoBa’s strategic fit.</li><li>External stakeholder engagement: Identify and manage relationships with investors, banks and advisors, coordinate market sounding processes and act as main point of contact throughout the deal lifecycle.</li><li>Strategic Development: Contribute to the evolution of BU SoBa’s M&amp;A strategies, including the development of holistic offerings, legal entity structuring and economic models.</li><li>Valuation &amp; Market Intelligence: Prepare M&amp;A assumptions and project business cases based on market and investor feedback, screen leads with financial and strategic framing.</li><li>Cross-Functional Coordination: Collaborate closely with legal, tax, engineering, trading and project teams to ensure smooth execution and internal alignment across all phases of the transaction.</li></ul>
