AECOM are seeking a highly skilled Structures Senior BIM Technician to join our team in Abu Dhabi, United Arab Emirates. In this role, you will lead the structural BIM of complex projects.Responsibilities:<ul><li>Ensure the model is built in accordance with the BIM Execution Plan (BEP) and project standards.</li><li>Lead and manage the implementation of BIM processes across project stages, from concept to handover.</li><li>Generate and manage 2D deliverables from the BIM model, including plans, sections, elevations, and details.</li><li>Manage and oversee the development and maintenance of the discipline-specific BIM model.</li><li>Coordinate multi-disciplinary BIM models, ensuring timely updates and clash-free deliverables.</li><li>Ensure model health, compliance, and quality by conducting regular audits and reviews.</li><li>Ensures accuracy and quality of discipline BIM model information, presentation, and coordination</li><li>Coordinate internally with the discipline’s design team to ensure accurate representation of design intent in the model.</li><li>Ensure drawings are extracted with correct scale, view templates, and title blocks per company/project standards.</li><li>Support sheet creation, annotation workflows, and print reviews before submissions.</li><li>Use BIM quality tools (e.g., Revit Warnings, Model Checker) to maintain quality.</li></ul> Qualifications<ul><li>Minimum 4-6 years of experience in digital development and BIM best practice.</li><li>Diploma in Civil / Structural Engineering</li><li>Familiarity with interoperability between Revit and other discipline-specific software programs and tools</li><li>Project set-up experience including the CDE, design models.</li><li>Stay updated with the latest digital tools and technologies relevant to building services and incorporate them into the project’s practices &amp; workflows.</li><li>General understanding of procedures, company policies to achieve set results and deadlines. Viewed as competent in all areas. Highest non-supervisory position. </li><li>May oversee work of junior-level technicians. Viewed as competent in all areas.</li><li>Perform model checks; ensure compliance with general and project specific BIM standards are met on all BIM projects.</li><li>Work with project teams to coordinate model set up, drawing packages, model coordination, and any other project requirements.</li></ul>
