AECOM is seeking an Environmental/Administration Intern based out of our Yellowknife office.This position is expected to begin in May 2025 and will be a six-month term position.The responsibilities of this position include, but are not limited to:<ul><li>Supporting environmental field investigations, including the field sampling of various media potentially including soil, surface water, groundwater and more.</li><li>Field work will occasionally require:<ul><li>Flying on charter aircraft including float planes and helicopters.</li><li>Moderate-to-heavy physical exertion.</li><li>Work periods that extend beyond an eight-hour workday or require working on weekends</li><li>Working from boats and use of all-terrain vehicles.</li><li>Contribution to the development of investigation workplans and health and safety plans.</li><li>Assessment of field data and technical reporting.</li><li>Supporting municipal works, which may include surveying assistance.</li></ul></li><li>Other duties as assigned.</li></ul>Our internships are designed to introduce and build essential, hands-on skills that differ from those attained in the academic arena and help to enhance the transition from student to professional. Interns are assigned duties that will provide a broad, well-rounded learning experience within their field of study.<ul></ul>
