You will be responsible for the control and administration of inventory transactions within our ERP systems (SAP, Manufacturing Database, MES). This role is crucial for maintaining efficient inventory accuracy and ensuring that we can meet our customer demand while minimizing costs associated with excess inventory or stockouts.Responsibilities<ul><li>Analyze inventory data to identify trends, discrepancies, and areas for improvement in the inventory management processes.</li><li>Conduct regular inventory audits to ensure accuracy between physical counts and inventory records.</li><li>Work closely with purchasing, sales, and production teams to maintain optimal inventory levels.</li><li>Develop and implement protocols to mitigate inventory loss and improve overall inventory accuracy.</li><li>Work closely with the Transportation Coordinator to support inventory readiness and shipping documentation associated with each shipment.</li><li>Execute timely and accurate inventory transactions to maintain appropriate inventory movement in the production cycle.</li></ul>Skills Required<ul><li>Strong conflict resolution, relationship management and communication skills</li><li>Detail oriented with a high degree of accuracy.</li><li>Takes initiative to understand and improve processes.</li><li>Works collaboratively internally and externally.</li><li>High level of professionalism.</li><li>Customer focused with a strong business acumen.</li><li>Familiarity with inventory management software and technology to streamline processes.</li><li>Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.</li><li>Proactive and results oriented.</li></ul>Qualifications<ul><li>Bachelor’s degree in business, Supply Chain, or Logistics</li><li>3 years of experience within a discrete manufacturing environment.</li><li>Knowledge of inventory transactions including stock movements, inventory adjustments, dispositioning, and cycle counts.</li><li>Knowledge of Microsoft Word and Excel.</li><li>Knowledge of inventory valuations through the manufacturing process.</li><li>Knowledge of inventory management principles and techniques (e.g. Kanban).</li><li>Knowledge of general inventory operating systems.
