GFL Mississauga is looking for plant operators to support in our refrigerant line of business!  Key Responsibilities: <ul><li>Work in an outdoor environment (30%)</li><li>Handle refrigerant cylinders / drums (physical lifting, carrying, moving of material)</li><li>Load, unload and move products and materials by hand or using material handling equipment</li><li>Operate refrigerant processing equipment</li><li>Perform preventive maintenance on processing equipment</li><li>Fill out production reports / equipment maintenance reports</li><li>Operate tow motor</li><li>Respond to emergencies and help with the spills clean-up</li><li>Housekeeping to maintain a safe work area</li><li>Some overtime required</li><li>Ensure all work complies with Safety Standards and all applicable Codes</li><li>Maintain good working relationship with all coworkers and customers</li><li>Perform other assignments as required</li></ul>Knowledge, Skills &amp; Competencies:<ul><li>Must be clean shaven (in order to wear a respirator)</li><li>Able to morning shift and/or afternoon shift</li><li>Ability to lift up to 40 lbs.</li><li>Multitask and work under pressure</li><li>Knowledge of refrigerant gases would be an asset</li><li>Tow motor experience, an asset</li></ul>#GFLTalent  We thank you for your interest.
