AECOM is seeking (2) Mid-level Archaeology Technician's (Archaeology Technician III) for immediate employment.  This remote opportunity will report to our Cultural Resources team in Portland or Seattle.  This is a part-time, on-call position meaning workdays and times will be determined on an as-needed project basis.The Archaeological Technician primarily performs fieldwork under the supervision of a Crew Chief, Field Director and/or Principal Investigator. Field projects will primarily be located in the PNW (Oregon and Washington State). Candidates will need flexibility to travel overnight for field work sessions. Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:<ul><li>Performs a variety of tasks in support of project staff.</li><li>May gather and maintain specified records of scientific data for supervisor, including but not limited to environmental sampling, operations and maintenance and inspections at client sites.</li><li>Other activities may include assisting with calculations, setting up and operating equipment, inspecting equipment and installations for compliance with specifications and maintaining proper project documentation.</li><li>Collects and enters data and applies technical principles and theories under supervision.</li></ul>About AECOM’s Environment Business Line Join AECOM to be part of an expert global team who is connected through a well-developed, worldwide, internal technical practice network through which you can learn from and brainstorm with the best in the world.
