They are helping shape our company and how our customers see us. This PGD Engineer position will report to the Plant Regional General Manager at the Okeechobee Clean Energy Center, located near Vero Beach, FL. This position is a developmental role for future growth opportunities within our Power Generation Division Operations Team. Upon determination and timing and under general direction, this individual shall be able to perform reliability engineering responsibilities for the site including, but not limited to, quality program facilitation, equipment condition assessment program, tracking and improving key performance indicators and contractor coordination. Leadership skills desired with the ability to interact with various levels throughout the organization. This position leverages resources both inside and outside the company to achieve desired results. Occasional night and or weekend work as well as call-out for emergencies is sometimes required. Preferring attributes include:<ul><li>Knowledge and understanding of power plant operations</li><li>Supervising or leading teams</li><li>Planning and scheduling of tasks</li><li>Strong bias for action</li><li>Team player</li></ul>
