You'll work across the entire development lifecycle, from requirements gathering to implementation, using modern technologies including Python, AWS, and UI frameworks (Vue/React). Key Responsibilities<ul><li>Develop software solutions for energy forecasting and optimization using Python, AWS, and modern UI frameworks</li><li>Lead technical architecture and design for software modules, potentially managing small engineering teams</li><li>Collaborate with cross-functional teams including data scientists and product managers in agile ceremonies</li><li>Mentor junior engineers and communicate project status to leadership</li><li>Build proof-of-concept implementations to validate research into viable products</li><li>Write technical requirements, documentation, and comprehensive testing suites</li></ul> Required Qualifications<ul><li>Bachelor's degree in Engineering or Computer Science</li><li>7+ years of software development experience</li></ul> Preferred qualifications: <ul><li>Proficiency in Python and modern UI frameworks (Vue/Angular/React)</li><li>Strong understanding of cloud computing (AWS preferred)</li><li>Experience with CI/CD and infrastructure-as-code processes</li><li>Proven ability to lead technical projects and mentor team members</li><li>Excellent communication skills with technical and business stakeholders</li></ul> Location: St. Paul, MN (Full-time, on-site)
