We’re looking for a Security Systems Support Specialist to help us maintain and enhance our electronic security systems across the business — including CCTV, access control, intrusion detection, and integrated platforms.This is a fantastic opportunity to play a key role in safeguarding Centrica’s physical assets by providing technical support and contributing to the continuous improvement of our security infrastructure.What You’ll Be Doing:<ul><li>Supporting the day-to-day operations and maintenance of our electronic security systems.</li><li>Providing technical support to ensure the safety and security of our physical assets.</li><li>Collaborating with cross-functional teams to resolve issues and implement improvements.</li><li>Applying your knowledge of security principles and IT systems to deliver effective solutions.</li></ul>What You’ll Be Responsible For:<ul><li>Identifying and resolving technical issues related to security systems, including hardware, software, and network connectivity.</li><li>Assisting in the design, deployment, and integration of new security systems and technologies.</li><li>Acting as a liaison between Security Management, project managers, vendors, and business units to support access control, intrusion detection, and CCTV queries.</li><li>Responding to security incidents and assisting in investigations to identify root causes.</li><li>Ensuring compliance with industry regulations, standards, and best practices.</li><li>Supporting governance of access control, particularly in restricted areas, in line with Centrica standards.</li><li>Producing clear and accurate reports on system performance for audit, compliance, and risk management.</li><li>Working with the Security Systems Manager, Global Operations Centre (GOC), and contractors to manage systems and follow up on remedial actions.</li><li>Participating in post-incident reviews and debriefs to support continuous improvement.</li></ul>Here’s what we’re looking for:We welcome applicants from all backgrounds and experiences.
