ResponsibilitiesTeam Leadership and Management<ul><li>Lead, mentor, and develop a team of Assembly Technicians, fostering a culture of safety, quality, and continuous improvement.</li><li>Plan and allocate resources effectively to meet build schedules and project milestones.</li><li>Conduct performance reviews, provide coaching, and identify training needs within the team.</li><li>Drive team engagement and maintain high morale in a fast-paced, evolving environment</li></ul>Build Operations and Process Management<ul><li>Lead the assembly of mechanical and electrical sub-assemblies from prototype through to production specifications.</li><li>Complete full BESS builds, ensuring consistency, quality, adherence to engineering specifications.</li><li>Develop, implement, maintain Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) and Bill of Process (BOP).</li><li>Drive lean manufacturing principles and continuous improvement initiatives to optimise build efficiency and quality</li></ul>Quality Assurance and Compliance<ul><li>Ensure all builds meet stringent quality standards and regulatory requirements, including UN38.3, ADR compliance, and CE/UKCA marking considerations.</li><li>Implement and maintain quality control processes, including inspection and functional testing.</li><li>Lead root cause analysis activities for build-related issues and implement corrective actions.</li><li>Maintain comprehensive build records, traceability documentation, and quality metrics.</li></ul>Cross-Functional Collaboration<ul><li>Work closely with Engineering, R&amp;D, and Design teams to support prototype development and design validation activities.</li><li>Provide manufacturability feedback, ensuring designs are optimised for efficient assembly.</li><li>Collaborate with Supply Chain and Procurement to ensure component availability and quality.</li><li>Interface with Health &amp; Safety teams to maintain the highest safety standards in all build activities</li></ul>Project and Resource Management<ul><li>Plan and execute build schedules to support engineering milestones and customer delivery.</li><li>Manage build budgets, resource allocation, and capacity planning.</li><li>Identify and implement process improvements to reduce build times and costs at quality.</li><li>Coordinate with facilities to ensure optimal workspace layout and equipment availability.</li></ul>
