AECOM is currently seeking candidates for the position of Archaeology Field  Technician III &amp; IV, which can be based out of our offices in Peterborough, Barrie, or Saint Ste Marie.Key responsibilities include:<ul><li>Conducting Stages 2-4 archaeological field work under the guidance of a field supervisor.</li><li>Identifying and recovering Indigenous and Euro-Canadian artifacts as instructed by the site supervisor.</li><li>Prioritizing Health and Safety protocols and adhering to all AECOM procedures.</li><li>Willingness to travel extensively across Ontario for extended periods.</li><li>Taking on a junior leadership role during field operations.</li><li>Assisting the Field Supervisor with technical aspects of field work.</li><li>Contributing to the training of new team members.</li><li>Setting an example for teammates and undertaking additional tasks as assigned by field supervisors or management.</li></ul>Please be advised that LIUNA has been certified by the Labour Relations Board to bargain on behalf of persons in the above noted position.
