You will join a team charged with maintaining equipment and ensuring facility equipment uptime to help scale its operations to commercialize the company’s groundbreaking energy storage technology. Responsibilities: Executes daily, monthly, quarterly facilities &amp; equipment inspections/maintenancesActs as a contact while on shift for any building issues (climate control, odors, smoke, spills, damage, emergencies, and repairs)Supervises contractor performance and works closely with outside vendors and contractors to ensure work is completed according to specificationsMay act as project coordinator for all size projects including large scale repair and new facility projectsSolicits bids and quotes from vendorsMonitors and replaces light bulbs in all assigned facilities, as neededMakes minor plumbing repairs, as necessaryCoordinates and assists with departmental and employee movesPreforms basic electrical work and resolves when an electrician is requiredPerforms maintenance duties as assigned by the facilities managerCarries out work orders in a timely manner per our computer maintenance management systemMonitors the building automation system to ensure all facilities equipment is running without issuesWorks directly with EH&amp;S team to ensure a safe workplace, manage fire life safety systems and hazardous waste programsWorks with equipment maintenance team on projects regarding Facility and Manufacturing / R&amp;D Minimum Requirements: Must have knowledge in HVAC, commercial electricity, commercial plumbing, fire life safety, hazardous waste, EH&amp;S, project managementYou have a proven experience in a lab R&amp;D / Manufacturing environment as a Facilities Technician / Maintenance Technician or a technical degree from a 2-4 year program.You are committed to delivering high quality results and share our real passion for our mission.You can use computer software, including Microsoft Office, CMMS, BMS, BAS, ALC, Microsoft Word &amp; Outlook, Excel, Auto CAD preferred but not required. Physical Requirements: Be able to walk, bend, stoop, balance, crawl and reach for extended periods of timeMust be able to utilize/view a PC and/or monitorMust be able to lift 50lbsMust be comfortable and able to work on a ladder of 20 feetMust be able to work independently without direct supervision Compensation &amp; Benefits: Hourly rate range for this role has a range of $36.39/hr -$45.48/hr, however, a final rate will be determined by the candidate's experience and educational background.
